Working with us

Ewan Partners was established in 2011 with the ambition of providing its clients with pragmatic, delivery-oriented HR project resource solutions. Where a number of its competitors proclaim to have invented new and more convoluted methodologies, we were established with a clear ambition of placing the delivery of tangible outcomes as first and foremost.

We aren't here to deliver clever people strategy slideware with colourful metaphysical graphics! At Ewan Partners it is about a sensible, client-oriented approach to making sure HR change and transformation projects get delivered on time, on budget and provide actual, tangible outcomes.

As such, we aren't advocating Agile or Waterfall, Prosci or McKinsey 7S, SuccessFactors, Oracle or Workday. We understand all of these methodologies, models and technologies, as well as numerous others. In fact, we often borrow from a number of approaches and methods and adjust according to the specific client requirements and ways of working.

For Ewan Partners, it is therefore about understanding how the client wants to work when helping them to drive forward the change without pushing any specific methodology. We deliver with whatever works best for our client and often, their vendors also, when tailoring the right approach to ensure delivery of the right outcomes and benefits.

Ewan Partners Leadership

Ewan Partners

Jonathan Krogdahl, Managing Director, has over two decades experience of delivering some of the largest, most complex and difficult HR transformation and change projects. He has worked for both large and medium-sized international clients covering: banking; insurance; accounting / management consulting; technology (IT&T); construction and FMCG. Whether a programme or large project, he has built a reputation as someone who delivers.

Quite often this has involved being brought into a project or programme that is behind schedule, over-budget and not delivering on the planned benefit outcomes. In these circumstances he is frequently asked to design and implement a recovery plan to re-establish a functioning programme or project team with proper governance and controls.

A natural problem solver, he has delivered projects that required not only a project activity leader but someone who helps to advise the business sponsor on design and correction decision, providing risk-based action and consequence options to enable rapid decision-making. When Jonathan has become a trusted-advisor in the delivery of a project there are very few obstacles that aren’t able to be overcome.

Prior to starting his career in this sector, Jonathan received his Bachelor’s degree in Education (English & History) from James Cook University in Australia and has since completed a postgraduate qualification in management (Australia) and was awarded a Master of Arts qualification (Nottingham Business School) in Strategic Human Resources Management.

He has also: written for industry and the broadsheet press; holds both Australian and British citizenship; has been cleared to security level SC in the UK and was formerly a District Councillor in Sevenoaks.
